Schedule for 2024

Tuesday, August 13th

  • Montreal riders are transported to Toronto providing an opportunity for them to get to know each other and build their team spirit for the peloton!
  • Preparation Meeting at the hotel.
  • Dinner and overnight in downtown Toronto, which always turns out to be an awesome first night.

Wednesday, August 14th  (Toronto to Belleville - 190 km)

  • Send-Off Event at 7:00 - 8:00 am at the Toronto SickKids
  • Two short morning breaks (15-20 mins)
  • Lunch Break (1 hour)
  • Two short afternoon breaks (15-20 mins)
  • Dinner and overnight in Belleville at the always friendly Best Western.

Thursday, August 15th (Belleville to Cornwall - 260 km)

  • Wake up at 5:30 am for breakfast - yup it really is that early!
  • Depart at 7:00 am
  • Two short morning breaks (15-20 mins)
  • Lunch break in Gananoque (1 hour)
  • Two short afternoon breaks (15-20 mins)
  • Arrival of Ride In riders in Cornwall
  • Dinner and overnight in Cornwall at the Best Western Cornwall a perennial favourite

Friday, August 16th (Cornwall to Montreal - 130 km)

  • Depart at 8:00 am
  • Two short morning breaks (15-20 mins)
  • Lunch break at John Abbott + police escort pick up
  • Arrival at Montreal Children’s Hospital followed by a post-ride celebration - friends, family and supporters are invited to come celebrate the arrival of these brave and inspirational cyclists
  • Return for Toronto-bound participants by train in the evening or the next day Saturday August 20th.

Speed Groups

Depending on the total number of riders, we generally split up into three or four speed groups with no more than twelve riders per group.

  • Racer Group: 35+ kph
  • Group 1: ARS 32-34 kph
  • Group 2: ARS 29-31 kph
  • Group 3: ARS 26-28 kph
